WWE has put out some interesting commercials for their PPVs. From wrestlers portraying potential dates for the Royal Rumble, to Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch’s cameos for the 2K20 video game, WWE’s commercials have been nothing short of entertaining. We bring the best commercial to you featuring Brock Lesnar for SummerSlam 2003.

The Beast Incarnate took on an actual beast for the SummerSlam 2003 commercial. Lesnar rushes to the shore when a lifeguard spots a shark in the water. As people scatter helter-skelter, Lesnar sprints to the shore and dives into the water to deliver an F5 to one of the most dangerous animals on the planet.

The advertisement was as brilliant as it was ridiculous. Lesnar delivering the same move that beat the Rock for the WWE Title to an actual shark is brilliant. Along with John Cena, Triple H, the Undertaker and Randy Orton, the great white shark also joins the list of F5 victims.

Lesnar faced Kurt Angle at SummerSlam 2003 in a rematch from WrestleMania 19. It was the first time the same match main evented both WrestleMania and SummerSlam in the same year. The legends put on a barnburner of a match that saw Vince McMahon align himself with Lesnar, but Angle still prevailed and won the championship.

The issue surrounding Brock Lesnar’s future in the WWE is quite confusing. Lesnar has not wrestled for WWE since dropping the WWE Title to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania. His contract expired in September 2020.

With WrestleMania approaching, WWE might be keen on bringing back Lesnar for the Show of Shows. If he does, he already has a bunch of opponents set to suplex out of the WWE Thunderdome.

The obvious choice is Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief and the Beast have previously met twice at WrestleMania, and both matches weren’t met with the best reception.

This time, the roles are reversed, and Roman Reigns is the biggest heel in WWE. With Lesnar ahead of him at WrestleMania, Reigns will have his work cut out for him, as will Paul Heyman.
