There was a time when Gonzalez wasn’t being used on TV. During that time, she worked on her wrestling skills and physique. She made her return to NXT last year at TakeOver: Portland. One year later, ‘Big Mami Cool’ is the new NXT Women’s Champion. Not to forget, she was also the first-ever NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Dakota Kai.
Raquel Gonzalez’s reign of dominance has just begun. And we believe she will hold on to the title for at least more than six months. With some new faces like Zoey Stark, Sarray, Franky Monet coming in, Gonzalez must be prepared at all times! It’s one thing to win the championship, and another to defend it successfully.
