WATCH: Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods Show Off Their Undertaker Impressions in a Hilarious Backstage Segment

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods got back to winning ways on Raw after a tough weekend. The eleven-time Tag Team Champions lost their titles to AJ Styles and Omos at WrestleMania. After Raw, Woods and Kingston were back to their fun ways and even impersonated the Undertaker.

Kofi Kingston imitates the Undertaker

Unlike the Deadman, The New Day has had some tough luck at WrestleMania’s. In their debut appearance at the PPV, they lost a fatal four-way match for the tag titles which were won by Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. The following year, they suffered another huge loss to the League of Nations.

They hosted WrestleMania 33, but lost at the following year’s event in New Orleans. WrestleMania 35 was a moment of magic for Kofi Kingston, but WrestleMania 36 brought another loss to the group. Post split, Kofi and Woods thought they’d register their first WrestleMania win as a team, but came up short to AJ Styles and Omos.

To lift their spirits, Kofi did an imitation of the Undertaker. “If I would’ve had a black overcoat and the little hat, you know, and some pale skin, you would’ve thought that I was Taker. You would’ve said Taker I thought you retired, and I would’ve said, “No, I would never rest in peace. I’m still here, Sara, I’m always here. My soul is here, right here with the WWE because I built this place Tombstone by Tombstone.”

He even claimed they’ve been to the Deadman’s house and have been invited for dinner many times. Xavier roasted the Deadman, claiming his food was ‘salty’. This obviously comes off the back of Taker’s claims against current WWE superstars going soft.

Kofi and Woods beat Elias and Ryker on Raw

The New Day got back on track after the loss to Omos and AJ Styles at WrestleMania with a win over Elias and Jaxon Ryker. Ryker and Elias featured on Night 1 of WrestleMania, attacking Braun Strowman before his steel cage match with Shane McMahon.

WWE have tried to make Elias and Ryker an effective heel team on Raw, but this loss to the New Day might just keep them in the jobbers role. At least they looked better than when they were being buried by Strowman on Raw prior to WrestleMania.

As for Kofi and Woods, they receive stiffer competition for the titles as the Viking Raiders returned to Raw.
