It’s not a WWE episode if John Cena does not show up! Now, it’s not always during the televised portion of the episode, but he sure does turn up!
On Monday Night Raw: August 9th, 2021, John Cena arrived at the arena. There wasn’t any fight, there wasn’t a scene, there wasn’t even a brawl. It was just The Invisible Man appearing, and making the crowd go wild!
Moreover, Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, and Cena shared a brief moment of sportsmanship in the ring before Orton and Riddle exited the ring. Orton initiated a hug, and Cena remained cautious for a while and then agreed to it. Three of them hugged, and it was just about enough for the entire arena to erupt with cheers.

Considering this came after Randy Orton closed the slow by delivering an RKO to Matt Riddle, it was even more special for the fans at the arena to see the Superstars caught in a hug.

What’s next for John Cena on WWE?
Currently, Cena is working towards facing Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship title at SummerSlam 2021. Even though The Tribal Chief initially denied Cena’s challenge, the returning megastar ensured to sign the SummerSlam 2021 contract.
He interfered during the contract signing segment between Roman Reigns and Finn Balor. Following that, he signed the contract and showed it off to the camera. Finally, he tossed the contract to the WWE officials and walked away. During all of this time, The Tribal Chief sat on his chair, completely infuriated.

The Invisible Man revealed what he wants to do with his remaining time
According to Cena, he doesn’t have a lot of time left at WWE. Therefore, he doesn’t want to waste the time he has left by working slowly. He wants to provide entertainment that fans expect from him when they purchase tickets.

In fact, WWE had asked him to commit for a few dates. However, he insisted on committing to a full time WWE schedule so that he can use his remaining time at WWE properly. This meant other schedules had to take a backseat, and as of now, the Superstar is okay with that.
