Monday Night Raw a few hours ago ended on a high note. After a long time, WWE officially confirmed Randy Orton‘s return at Survivor Series 2023. While Drew McIntyre is joining The Judgment Day to become the fifth member of their team during the WarGames match at the upcoming PLE this Saturday, ‘The Viper’ is set to be the latest addition to Cody Rhodes‘ team.

Jey Uso seems confident that his team will win the men’s WarGames match this year. However, the team might have some tensions worth noticing. For starters, fans should take note of how Uso is treating Orton’s return differently than anyone else.

Before Orton had to sit for a over year in recovery, he was in a match against The Usos. After the WWE legend and Matt Riddle lost their titles to The Bloodline members, news came in about Orton’s injury and how he needed some surgery to get better. Unfortunately for everyone, he needed longer than expected to completely recover. And now that he is back as Jey Uso’s teammate, the latter is trying his best to avoid him.

On his Instagram story a couple of hours ago, Jey Uso posted an edit including his Survivor Series teammates on a parody ‘Yeet’ song, first rapped into existence by Pete Davidson and Timothee Chalamet on SNL.

The eerie part about the cool edit was that it included all his teammates but Randy Orton. Since he uploaded it several hours after the latter’s official announcement in WWE, we can assume that he purposefully ignored him.

Moreover, when The American Nightmare was announcing the ‘Apex Predator’ on their team, Jey Uso wore a worried look on his face. This is because Orton was injured on WWE TV by The Usos as part of a storyline to write The Viper off TV. So WWE might be tapping into that playing off the tension between Jey Uso and Randy Orton.

Given the obvious history between the two wrestlers, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Orton comes for Jey Uso after their team match at Survivor Series this weekend.

Randy Orton to start a feud with Jey Uso?

The most obvious reason for the two wrestlers to engage in a feud is the fact that Uso and his twin were the people who put him out of business for over a year in kayfabe. So, if WWE wants to monetize the continuation of the story, it would be a great place for Orton to restart his singles wrestling run.

Even when Cody Rhodes announced the 43-year-old, Uso’s face showed how anxious and afraid he was regarding his return. If the Stamford-based company didn’t want to move further with continuing this storyline, they wouldn’t have paid attention to such details in the first place.

So, it is highly plausible for Randy Orton to come after Jey Uso after they wrap up with their Survivor Series match. But even during the match, the dynamic between Jey Uso and Orton will be one to watch out for.
