The All-American Hero has a message for us all. Hulk Hogan is one of the greatest wrestlers in the industry’s history. There would be no John Cena or Roman Reigns if Hogan didn’t push open the gates of wrestling to pop culture.
While there are a lot of controversies surrounding his name, one thing is for sure. When it comes to entertainment, Hogan delivers. Just like his 4th of July celebrations. A karaoke, fireworks, and Jimmy Hart are just some of the few things that Hogan is excited about for this year’s 4th of July and he posted a video on Instagram.

The American hero, Hulk Hogan
Saying your prayer and eating your vitamins was the Hulkamaniac way in the ’80s and ’90s. Hogan‘s image was always embedded in the American dream, to work hard and achieve greatness. Despite the American flag being red, white, and blue, Hogan painted it red and yellow. Associating himself with Americans and striving for the American dream was a major component of his success.

Another thing that was popular in Hogan’s time was facing American heroes against foreign wrestlers, painting them as ‘villains’ in the American way. The Iron Shiek and Yokozuna are two prime examples of wrestlers who were painted as such.

Hulk Hogan passed this gimmick down to the many generations of wrestling proteges. From the immediate successor, Lex Luger dubbed the All-American to Jack Swagger, who shouted, We the People, before coming out to the ring. While there have been few successes, there isn’t anyone as remarkable as Hulk Hogan when it comes to being the American Hero in professional wrestling.
