NXT witnessed a shocking first hour of television, when William Regal unveiled the brand new Women’s Tag Team Championships. After last week’s screwjob, Regal awarded the titles to Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. Unfortunately, their reign wouldn’t last too long, thanks to Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon.

The first NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship reign might be the shortest one, as Kai and Gonzalez lost the belts within an hour. Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon came down to the ring to congratulate them on their new titles, but they needed to win them fair and square. This led to William Regal booking a match with the titles on the line.
In a shocking turn of events, Kai and Gonzalez lost the titles after Blackheart rolled Kai up for the win. The new champions had a couple of words to say after their massive win.
“I’m an emotional wreck, but in a good way,” said Blackheart. “I just have no words,” said Moon. “I’m so excited and I’m excited to be with my tag team partner. The person that like, lifts me up more than most people will ever know. Whenever I’m down, she’s doing a goofy face to cheer me up. It’s happy moments, happy memories, and this is just the beginning of our tag team reign.”
Moon and Blackheart told everyone at the beginning of the Dusty Classic that they’re going balls-to-the-wall and are getting business done. They can now call themselves Tag Team Champions and can represent the NXT Women’s Division with pride, chaos, and with high octane energy.

Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly’s rivalry took a turn after the latter returned and cost the former the NXT Championship. They will surely clash in the main event of either night.
The other main event will mostly be Finn Balor vs Karrion Kross for the NXT Championship. Kross confronted Balor after his victory over Cole.
