The debut of a wrestler is the most memorable moment in their career. The pressure and expectation put on the wrestler’s shoulder are immense. The pressure is even more if the wrestler in question is very young and the son of another great wrestler.
We are talking about the former WWE Tag Team Champion, Dominik Mysterio. Even though he debuted for WWE last year, it was during the Thunderdome era without live crowds. So his first match in front of the live audience is like another debut for him. And the ‘Rated-R Superstar’ Edge is there to help Dominik along the way.

Edge and Rey Mysterio have performed in front of live audiences their whole careers. Now it was time for the new generation to step forth and take up the mantle. However, it is no cakewalk to perform in front of thousands of fans, knowing a botch would be catastrophic.
But the Mysterio blood runs through Dominik’s veins and with Edge by his side as a mentor, there is nothing to worry about. Edge has seen Dominik grow up to become the man he is today. He even revealed that Dominik had pictures with the tag team championship back when Rey and he won it back on November 5, 2002.
There is no way to prepare someone for this. From a fan’s perspective, it is just wrestlers coming in and doing their job. But for a wrestler, it is walking in front of thousands of people screaming and shouting. They have to deliver their absolute best. And to Dominik’s credit, he did not let the pressure get to him and took the advice of his father and uncle Edge.
