Fans were able to see Dwayne Johnson in a superhero film at last, after years of waiting. It looks like the wait was worthwhile since the flick had the biggest first-week box office earnings for the Rock, following its release. Before that, nevertheless, Black Adam faced intense criticism for remarks he made about giving different phrases for DC and which made him seem self-centered.

Meanwhile, once again talking to Hits Radio, in a fun quiz with Ogo A. During this, The Black Adam cast was quizzed about their knowledge of DC. Subsequently, The Rock then made a comment of a similar type for which he had previously drawn ire from fans.

More than a week ago, right before Black Adam’s release, while the movie’s promotion was in full gear, Johnson and the cast made numerous appearances on various platforms. It’s interesting to note that while speaking with Hits Radio, the actors were being tested on their knowledge of DC as they are a part of the project. Notably, when asked about the full form of DC. Black Adam actor jokingly replied, “Dwayne Comic.”

Before this, The People’s Champ received a beating from his fans for calling the DC Extended Universe “The Black Adam DC Universe.” After that, the Black Adam actor came under fire from fans for being accused of being selfish and uncaring about the series. Given that the statement is identical to the last, it will be fascinating to watch how supporters react this time. Meanwhile, the movie appeared to become another big smash for Dwayne Johnson.

Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson, getting immense love from fans

The first film in the Black Adam series. It contains a splendid antihero, a good backstory, and JSA (The Justice Society of America). Additionally, by the end of this story, it offers the perfect setting for Superman to confront Black Adam.

Despite Rotten Tomatoes’ unfavorable review, Johnson’s superhero debut movie seemed to be a hit with the audience. Notably, it made $83 Million in its first week of revenue up to this point. It will be fascinating to see if it surpasses the last Johnson film’s record for the biggest box office collection.
