Dwayne Johnson has now been in the movie industry for more than two decades. Along the way, he has made a lot of friends and some rivals. But among his friends, Johnson has a select few who have perfect comedic dynamics with him. One of these actors is none other than his Jungle Cruise co-star, Emily Blunt.

Despite being from different backgrounds, in movies and hometowns, and being different actors before their pairing, the two are a great comedic duo. But it isn’t only limited to the $220 million box office hit they had but also the interviews. This is the reason that fans can’t wait for the sequel to drop and see their favorite duo make another appearance together.

While talking about the action of the movie ‘Jungle Cruise’ in a 2021 interview, the two start talking about their action scene performances. First Blunt told the interviewer that the scenes were not slick like other action movies, rather being fun to do during the shooting.

But The Rock candidly talked about his performance. He said, “I do it all bad in this movie, that’s what makes it great. I think this is why people are so happy about my performance because everything sucks.” But then his co-star Emily Blunt stopped him. Saying, “Stop it, it’s good. The pressure’s off you. You get to be kind of loose and not the slick action star, that’s why people love it.”

2021’s Jungle Cruise was the pair’s first film together, but they hit it off immediately. Throughout all the interviews and talk show appearances, the two had a magnetic comedic chemistry with one another. It came to a point that once in an interview, Johnson owned Blunt in a hilarious fashion and the actress had nothing to say.

Without a doubt, this duo was a blast for audiences everywhere. The movie was nothing short of a gigantic success for Disney and the studio will be making another one, as a sequel has been announced already.
