Dwayne Johnson’s die-hard fans know really well that he loves his mother to the core. For the Hollywood star, going to any lengths for her happiness makes perfect sense. And why wouldn’t it? So her turning 75 emerged as a landmark moment. Maybe even more than his own birthday. And ‘The Great One’ didn’t waste the chance to celebrate her birthday in grand style.

His mother, Ata Johnson, turned 75 on the 26th of October. But her birthday celebrations went on even until yesterday. Johnson just shared a video on Instagram of his mother dancing in traditional Samoan style with a group of other girls at the birthday party.

Within a few seconds, Johnson jumped in and threw a huge wad of cash over his mom which is part of a Samoan tradition to appreciate the performers. He then joins the group of girls and starts dancing too in typical Samoan/Hawaiian style.

As Johnson continued to enjoy himself, we can also see other family members coming in and showering money at him and the dancing crew. Along with the video, Johnson said, “Grand finale of my mom’s 75th birthday, her Samoan Taualuga (our culture’s final and beautiful monumental moment). You can see, hear and feel the mana and pride in this moment. Throwing of money is our acknowledgment of great love and respect. Regardless of where you come from in this crazy world, we gotta cherish every moment we have with our mom & dads with all our love and respect. And buy them as many scratchy cards as they want on their birthdays 😂😂🤣🤣 #Atas75thBirthday 🎂💃🏻🕺🏽🇼🇸 ❤️”.

Despite the party undergoing an ecstatic atmosphere, his mother had tears in her eye on the day of her birthday.

Fans very well know that Dwayne Johnson is a gifted singer. He clearly showed this to the WWE universe during his ‘Rock Concerts’ in the Attitude Era days. And he used that exact same talent to make his mother’s 75th birthday extra special.

Jhonson posted a video on his Instagram of his mother playing the ukulele and him serenading her with a sweet birthday song. He sang, “If i should smile, a sweet surprise, it’s just that you’ve grown up in front of my very eyes. You’ve turned into the prettiest girl i’ve ever seen. Happy birthday, sweet 16… plus 59”.
