On this week’s WWE Smackdown, Jimmy Uso locked horns with Dominik Mysterio in a one-on-one match which was more of a follow-up to their title match at the Money in the Bank PPV.
The Usos defeated The Mysterios to win the Smackdown Tag Team Titles at Money in the Bank. Following up on a despondent defeat, Dominik was accompanied by his father, Rey Mysterio. He stood ringside along with Jey Uso, who was rooting for his brother on the other side.

Jimmy Uso defeats Dominik Mysterio with the help of Jey Uso
The match between Jimmy and Dominik was an apt follow-up to their bout at Money in the Bank PPV. Dominik had the say over the early parts of the match as he kept Jimmy wobble. But later, Jimmy snatched the control of the match, which he maintained throughout the match.

There were patches of comebacks from Dominik, but the young superstar couldn’t make use of it. The match’s outcome was in favor of Jimmy Uso, as Jimmy scored a roll-up on Dominik with an assist from his brother Jey Uso.
The ending of the match was similar to what happened last Sunday in the Money in the Bank match when the Usos scored a roll-up victory against the Mysterios.
Major Botch at the last stages of the match
One of the other talking points of the match was the significant botch that happened at final stages. Jimmy looked to counter Dominik’s high-flying move by trying to catch him on his shoulders.
However, the move turned out so bad that the audience at home and the arena noticed it as a botch. Plus, Jimmy and Dominik tried to amend the screw-up, which lead to more awkward moments.

Eventually, Jimmy Uso found a way to roll up Dominik, which was the valedictory move of the match. The victory indeed grants enormous momentum for the Usos after their Title win at Money in the Bank. On the other hand, the defeat against Jimmy Uso won’t impair Dominik Mysterio as the Mysterios stood tall at the end.
