A pro wrestling match and a pro wrestler are as special as their finishers. Spread across WWE’s entire roster, several WWE superstars have some of the most protected finishers of all time. Protected finishers justify moves from which opponents rarely kick out.

Recently, the 38-year-old former WWE United States Champion took inspiration from and shockingly stole former WWE superstar John Cena’s finisher, Attitude Adjustment.

Baron Corbin has finally been getting his deserved attention and push. After entering the NXT territory and feuding with Carmello Hayes, Corbin finally got his championship match. However, it came after he defeated Ilja Dragunov.

Corbin would defeat Dragunov using his protected finisher, ‘End of Days’, something from which even Roman Reigns failed to kick out once. However, prior to hitting the End of Days Corbin would shock the entire WWE universe with another move of his.

The match went down well and was filled with several good spots, including Corbin hitting Cena’s patented Attitude Adjustment.

Fans were shocked at this and left in awe. Only a few superstars over the years have executed the Attitude Adjustment, such as Randy Orton, Edge, or some of Cena’s well-known and long-term rivals. However, with Corbin being neither of them, it was shocking seeing him perform the AA.

Wrestling signatures and finishers are two of the most special moves in the arsenal of a pro wrestler. However, not every finisher is as stylish and protected as every other finisher. Some of the most protected finishers of all time include Randy Orton’s Punt kick, Corbin’s End of Days, Bobby Lashley’s Hurt Lock, The Undertaker’s Tombstone Piledriver, and Brock Lesnar’s Kimura lock.

Several superstars have tried and failed to break out from the Hurt Lock, or the Kimura lock, or even regain their consciousness after a punt kick.

However, although there have been instances of superstars kicking out of these moves, they have been very rare. These moves being protected, and superstars failing to kick out of them, have increased their credibility, and made them look like a legitimate threat.
