Charlotte Flair has been involved in The Damage CRTL storyline for a while now. On this week of Friday Night SmackDown, she took on Asuka in a singles action. She put up a marvelous performance, however, came short of defeating her opponent.
As if the night couldn’t get any worse, she also appeared to have injured herself badly as cameras caught people helping her backstage after her match with ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’. Is Flair alright?

Accidents are prone in the wrestling ring and it looks like ‘The Queen’ just became a victim of one. During her match with Asuka, she appeared to have injured her knee. Somewhere in between the match, she started favoring her knee. She couldn’t even enforce her submission move, Figure Eight partly because of the knee injury.
After the match, she was seen yelling “my knee” to Charles Robinson (the referee of the match). Paramedics rushed to the ring and checked on her. The team then helped her get backstage, which got caught in the camera. You can see the video below.

But that’s not it. Rumors are that ‘The Queen’ also injured her head during tonight’s match at SmackDown.
Flair might have also suffered a head injury
Fans who were present at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island have revealed that Flair also might have hurt her head while wrestling ‘The Empress of Tomorrow.’ It happened during the commercial break therefore, the WWE Universe watching on cable or subscription websites couldn’t see what happened.

But when SmackDown returned from the break, Flair seemed to be out of it. She looked puzzled, and it could be because of the awkward landing on her head she suffered during the commercial break. This could also be one reason why she couldn’t walk backstage on her own and needed help from the medical team and backstage staff.
As of now, no update has been given on her condition or how severely she is injured. If she’s hurt pretty severely, then she might have to take some time off to recover. There are chances she might even miss WrestleMania next year. But let’s hope for the best and keep following us for further updates.
