WATCH: Cody Rhodes Comes to the Aid of LA Knight on SmackDown as The Bloodline Lay Waste to Him

Tonight’s SmackDown almost reached the closing moment with a staggering Jimmy Uso vs LA Knight main event. Knight has been at odds with The Bloodline for a while now. Tonight’s showdown handed him the perfect break to settle scores with Jimmy Uso who cost him the coveted Undisputed Universal Championship title at Crown Jewel. And Knight did it as planned.

That said, he still had to be on the receiving ends of a Bloodline attack post the segment. However, Knight was saved by an angel in the form of Cody Rhodes who rushed in.

Cody Rhodes turned a savior of LA Knight at SmackDown tonight

After the match ended, Solo Sikoa came down the ramp while Knight drew an imaginary line in front of him. But then Uso’s blindside and Sikoa’s Samoan Spike beat Knight down. To everyone’s surprise, The American Nightmare came down the ring and stood tall alongside Knight against the Bloodline after, turning the tide.

The entire arena was buzzing with a maddening Rhodes chant.

However, Cody Rhodes received a subtle threat from The Enforcer following his surprise appearance at SmackDown tonight.

Solo Sikoa sent a two-word message to Cody Rhodes post the showdown

Cody Rhodes might be one of the hot acts in the promotion, the company might also treat him with marquee spots upon his return from AEW, but that doesn’t imply he surpassed the Bloodline in any way. He has yet to get the upper hand against the head of the family. In fact, all of Rhodes’ current feuds and his heroics in those actually make the stepping stone toward his epic fight against Roman Reigns.

But it seems like Reigns’ cousins are still not done with him. After failing short to lay waste on Knight tonight, Solo Sikoa issued a subtle warning on Twitter.

It was the enforcer who cost Rhodes the title at WrestleMania 39 and later received retribution from the American Nightmare in a single match.

At SmackDown tonight, Rhodes showed up out of the blue and helped Knight out in the face of a brutal Bloodline attack.

Sikoa couldn’t let him get away with it without a threat. He took to Twitter to warn the Raw star.
