CM Punk‘s huge WWE return is continuing to make headlines and the fans are not even done processing the pure burst of emotion and exhilaration. Meanwhile, The Second City Saint is getting closer to another historical moment, his in-ring debut in WWE for his second stint. One very obvious thing is that it is going to be another stellar day in wrestling.

CM Punk will square off against Dominik Mysterio in Madison Square Garden tonight within a few minutes. This will be his first-ever match in WWE since the 2014 Royal Rumble. However, his last actual match took place at AEW All in London against Samoa Joe, and it ended with a smooth victory.

WWE cameras followed CM Punk right from his MSG entry to his prepping up for the big fight. And it’s almost time to gear up as the CM Punk magic is brewing.

Given that the star is more than ready to lace up his shoes again in the WWE ring, we expect it to be a triumphant return no matter what.

What the next few weeks of CM Punk look like? 

M Punk is slated to appear on WWE RAW ahead of Royal Rumble 2024. The Seventh City Saint is advertised for multiple Monday Night Raw episodes to build the heat for his big PLE comeback. Rumors mills suggested that Finn Balor could be his next prey after labeling Dominik Mysterio with a high-flying win tonight at Madison Garden. Apart from a potential CM Punk vs Fin Balor in RAW in 2024 ahead of the Royal Rumble, WWE already revealed CM Punk’s entire weekly show schedule in the build to Royal Rumble 2024. He was slated for two episodes of the blue brand so far. The first one is set to occur on the January 8th edition of RAW. And the second one will air on the January 22nd episode of Raw.

WWE is nearing its New Year’s Knockout Week next Monday with three television specials for RAW, NXT, and SmackDown. After the red brand kickstarting the week,  NXT will come next with New Year’s Evil.

That said, prior to that, The Second City Saint will again butt heads with Dominik Mysterio in his next match, which will take place on December 30, 2023, at The Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
