Braun Strowman recently opened up about his tragic childhood.

In a documentary released by WWE Network, The ‘Monster Among Men’ opened up on the tragic car accident he was involved in when he was a year old. His parents were in the same car as him.

While he escaped the accident without any serious injuries, his parents did not have the same fate. His father hit the embankment while his mother suffered an even more unfortunate consequence.

She returned from the hospital with no memory of how to function. As a result, she had to be taught everything from the very beginning.

Braun Strowman reveals the incident that changed him

Braun Strowman revealed how one of the most difficult moments used to be when she did not know who he was or even what to do with him. Whenever his father handed him over to his mother, she would not know what to do with her own son.

However, she fought through all of it. Therefore, for Braun Strowman, his source of strength is watching his mother never give up and continuing to push forward.

“When I’ve seen so many people I’ve been close with, I’ve been close to giving up myself. And you know, have such a strong spirited woman raise me without a doubt made me the man I am today.”

Unless one is in the shoe, one will never know the pain of watching their own mother go through this nightmare of a phase. The fact that Braun Strowman watched her, was patient with her, and used her determination as his own source of strength is absolutely brilliant.

Today, Strowman is one of the greatest heels in the WWE. In fact, he is a part of possibly the hottest rivalry in the industry at the moment.

Not only is his name known by everyone in the wrestling universe, but he is also an inspiration to many.
