Stone Cold Steve Austin was a WWE superstar who could both get serious while a major feud and make the crowd laugh at any point. However, despite that, Austin is a patriotic person and does not like it if someone talks ill about his hometown of Texas and his country, the USA.
This week’s Monday Night RAW was a Memorial Day special episode. WWE paid tribute to all the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Also, it was an honor for the military personnel who are currently serving the armed forces.

Moreover, former WWE announcer Lilian Garcia is very well known to sing the American National Anthem beautifully on WWE TV. On account of Memorial Day, Garcia posted a video on her Instagram of an off-air moment where she sang “America The Beautiful” with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
In the caption, she said, “It’s not Memorial Day without singing “America The Beautiful” with my pal @steveaustinbsr and of course sharing some 🍻!! Thank you to our military who give us the freedom to do these types of celebrations! We honor you! 🙏🏼”.

Further, she added, “A special message to the families of the fallen. As a military brat, I know first hand that it’s not just the soldier that makes sacrifices, but the families as well. Thank you! May this Memorial Day remind you that you are appreciated!! God bless the USA! 🇺🇸 . #memorialday #usa #fallensoldiers #soldiers #bravemenandwomen”.
Austin, in the video said, “Before we get to beer drinking I would appreciate Lillian, this camera man, to get his a** out of way. Lillian, if you will come back to the ring. I got a little surprise for you. I admit it I can’t sing worth a damn. But I’ll like to do a little duet with Lillian here on the song called ‘The America the Beautiful. If you guys wanna sing along with me, I sure would appreciate it”.

Stone Cold insisted Lilian Garcia join him to sing the song in the ring. As we can see from the video, both sang the patriotic song. Garcia was trying to hold her laugh as The Rattlesnake sang terribly, but he had already warned about this!
Stone Cold Steve Austin took advice from Drew McIntyre
Stone Cold Steve Austin returned to in-ring action for one last time in WrestleMania 38. He faced Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match, which ran all over the arena. Austin won the match eventually, but prior to his match, he was nervous about performing in front of the new generation crowd.
Drew McIntyre recently in an interview with talkSPORT revealed giving advice to Austin ahead of his match at WrestleMania 38.
McIntyre said, “On the night of Mania I gave him some advice which is also surreal. He hasn’t done this for 20 years and I could see… Even though he’s a very confident, intense guy – the way the character is, that’s the way he is in real life – but no, I mostly just reminded him to breathe.”

However, this might have really helped Austin as he later went out and gave an amazing match. The fans and even wrestling critics acclaimed this match well. If this was the last match of The Rattlesnake, it sure was a fitting end to his illustrious career.
