The final match of this episode of WWE SmackDown saw AJ Styles take on Solo Sikoa in a singles match. This was Styles’ first match since his return to SmackDown last week. This led to an all-out brawl where we got to see the egos of the three WWE Universal Title contenders clash.
WWE SmackDown ends with an ego clash in the ring
As mentioned earlier, the match ended with The Bloodline attacking Styles, resulting in a disqualification. This led to Randy Orton coming out to help. Unfortunately, Orton was no match for the numbers game, which led to Knight making his way to the ring All three men were able to drive The Bloodline out while standing tall in the ring.

However, this was not where the show ended, as the three got into a verbal disagreement. This mirrored the start of the show, where the three argued about who would face Reigns first. The argument led to the three fighting each other, with Styles trying to take on both men at the same time. As the brawl continued, The Bloodline stood and watched a preview of what was to come at SmackDown New Year’s Revolution, when these three will compete in a Triple Threat match to determine the next challenger for Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble.
