Cody Rhodes entering the ring with injury is not a rare sight anymore. First, he did that in Hell in a Cell PLE last year. And merely a week ago, he gave fans a deja vu at Night of Champions as well. 

It was exciting for the WWE Universe at first, but now fans are getting a little worried as Rhodes is risking his health again and again for the sake of performing inside the ring. And he did the same this week when he performed again with a broken arm.

Cody Rhodes once again put his health at risk

Last week, Cody Rhodes stepped inside the ring to compete against the ‘Beast’ Brock Lesnar with a cast on his hand. Still, he put up a great fight and even underwent Lesnar’s ‘Kimura Lock’.

While fans were expecting not to see him competing this week on SmackDown, Rhodes shocked the world. He competed against WWE Superstar The Miz in a dark match with a broken arm.

Not only this, but Rhodes was also performing risky moves that include lifting the competitor. This made fans worried, and they started to show their concern for Rhodes’ health.

The brutal attack by Lesnar last month was a scripted segment and Rhodes’ injury was also a part of it. The ‘Beast’ has been a part of this kind of kayfabe in the WWE several times.

Creative is aware of the fact that WWE Universe loves when Cody Rhodes shows his willpower in a match. And, they used that angle perfectly. The major reason fans show too much interest in Rhodes and Lesnar’s feud is that they wanted to re-witness Cody Rhodes’ willpower as they saw last year against Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
