WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was one of Vince McMahon’s favorite guys. But before stepping into Vince McMahon’s WWE, he became extreme in ECW. Paul Heyman hired Stone Cold Steve Austin to cut promos and in-ring interviews as he had not adequately recovered from his WCW injury.
During the ECW stint of Steve Austin, he ruthlessly targeted Hulk Hogan. The Texas Rattlesnake, aka Steve Austin, pulled one of the memorable promos. He wore the most low-rent homemade Hulk Hogan costume.

Stone Cold Steve Austin created a spin-off to Hulkamania!
Stone Cold Steve Austin did an exaggerated parody of The Hulkster, claiming that he needed to imitate Hogan to reach the company’s top. The Texas Rattlesnake disrespected Hulk Hogan by dressing up in The Hulkster’s trendy yellow attire.
Just like the “Hulkamania” on Hogan’s shirt, Steve Austin came up with his twisted “Stevamania” written on his shirt. The Texas Rattlesnake during the ECW stint was at an early stage of his wrestling career. But Stone Cold, in true character, went straight up to mock living legend Hulk Hogan.

When The Hulkster jumped ship to Vince McMahon’s rival company WCW in 1994, he had already been a five-time WWE Champion. He defeated big names such as The Iron Sheik, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and many others.
