WATCH: 21-Year-Old WWE Superstar and Her Mother Twerk to Celebrate International Women’s Day

Women across the globe are proudly celebrating International Women’s Day. Even the WWE Superstars are taking to their social media platforms and uploading and cherishing the same. Similarly, current NXT Superstar Nikkita Lyons took to her Instagram handle and uploaded a video with her mother.

The 21-year-old superstar uploaded a video with her mother, Shelly Jefferies. In the video, the mother-daughter duo was seen enjoying a dance session together. However, it looked like Lyons was teaching her mother how to twerk.

Lyons and her mother were having a good time together. The two of them shared laughs while Shelly was struggling to twerk as good as her daughter. Along with the video, the WWE superstar also uploaded multiple photos of her mother from her younger days.

Lyons even wrote a heartfelt for her mother about what she means to her. She called her mother a “free-spirited queen” and also noted that her mother had sacrificed much for her.

“Happy International Women’s Day! Women are literally the portal to this realm and I am so grateful for mine. @realmomaj I just thought it’d only be right to dedicate this day to my beautiful, amazing, free spirited Queen. She has sacrificed so much and has been with me through it all,” she wrote.

It’s not just Nikkita who took to her social media handle to show love to the women in her life.

Recently, former WWE Champion, The Rock, also took to his Instagram and wished his wife, Lauren, a Happy Women’s Day in a unique way.

Nikkita Lyons turned multiple heads on her NXT debut

The 21-year-old made her NXT 2.0 debut on the 22nd of February. In her debut match, she faced Kayla Inlay, whom she easily defeated. However, it was her unique pin cover on her fallen opponent that turned heads of the WWE Universe.

Since her match, the fans have really come out and have admired Lyons’ unique way of pinning her opponent. It is really hard to impress the fans in your very first match, and Lyons did just that.
