The WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view from Las Vegas, Nevada, was indeed the ‘biggest party of the summer’. From seeing John Cena wrestle since WrestleMania last year to seeing ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar making his giant return at the PPV, it was absolutely spectacular.

However, some fans in attendance left with a sour taste in their mouths when they saw ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch squashing ‘The EST’ Bianca Belair to become the WWE SmackDown Women’s champion.

Colin Cowherd is now the biggest fan of WWE after SummerSlam

In the past, Colin had been very vocal about his hatred towards the professional wrestling industry; calling the wrestling fans ‘booger eaters’, he even infamously said ‘Who cares?’ after WWE announced that Eddie Guerrero had passed away, he did the same when the Ultimate Warrior passed away in 2014.

However, it looks like SummerSlam 2021 has done its magic on the TV personality. In an interview, Colin praised WWE’s efforts into making SummerSlam popular and entertaining.

At the end of the interview, Colin said he attended the Manny Pacquiao vs. Yordenis Ugás match that night and said it was a good fight, but it “wasn’t even close” to what WWE presented at SummerSlam.

Colin also praised the matches on the SummerSlam card, especially Charlotte Flair.

“I had a blast this weekend. I did an event for my new podcast company [The Volume] at WWE SummerSlam. I went and sat right next to Bill Simmons, had an absolute blast. Charlotte Flair, it was unbelievable.”
