Although Dominik Mysterio lost to his father Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39, the feud did not stop there. The two of them continued their battle while bringing along The Judgement Day and Bad Bunny, and LWO as their allies.

However, this was originally planned to be a tag team involving Dominik and Rey Mysterio, but the plans did not go through. What did Dominik Mysterio claim while crediting his ‘real father’ as his inspiration behind WWE success?

While the 26-year-old Dominik Mysterio began his career as a cheerful lad beside his father, his career would go in a different direction after he turned against him and Edge at Clash at the Castle and joined The Judgement Day.

And ever since that day, he would go out on an all-out war with his father. During the entire rivalry, he would often bring up Eddie Guerrero and play mind games with the underdog of WWE. Over the course of this feud, Dominik has come into his own and is one of the best heels in WWE.
