Former WWE head writer, Vince Russo has fired yet another shot on his former employer, however, this time it was directed at WWE CEO, Vince McMahon, himself.

Russo took a dig at the current WWE programming and bluntly told Vince McMahon to retire and sit home because the CEO is “killing” the current program and everyone involved in it.

Recently the WWE is engaged in a neck-to-neck competition with its rival promotion AEW, especially when the former moved to the same timing as AEW Rampage.

Vince Russo ruthlessly attacks Vince McMahon

The WWE legend recently appeared on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW with Dr. Chris Featherstone, where the former writer urged McMahon to retire so that no more harm is done to the company.

Russo also stated that Vince should leave everything up to Nick Khan, who is the Chief Revenue Officer for the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet.

“Vince, you need to retire. You need to retire. Killing this company, everybody in the company, killing the viewers at home. You are killing everything, bro. Nick Khan does not need Vince McMahon there to make all that money. He [Nick Khan] knows the goods. Nick Khan knows what’s in the shed. He knows what he can sell. Vince is killing this thing.”

He also took a dig at Vince’s age and compared it to the fact that he would not be doing his podcast show if he ever turned 76.

“I promise everybody out there. Listen, if you listen to russosbrand.com, I promise you, I will not be podcasting it at 76. You have my word. I will know it’s time to hand over the bulldog to the young podcasters. Vince, retire! Retire! You are killing everything! I’m sorry.” Russo stated.
