WWE is gearing up well for celebrating the 40th edition of WrestleMania this year. After getting The Rock on board for the grandest show, WWE is in plans to have more celebrities to celebrate the occasion. WWE has a habit of including celebrity matches for the grandest wrestling event on the planet. One such celebrity, who had previously gone against WWE’s former head honcho Vince McMahon and has been part of many WrestleMania and PLEs, revealed a major update on his fate at WrestleMania.

Pat McAfee says his old habits may affect his fate in WrestleMania

Pat McAfee was invited to the podcast All the Smoke. McAfee made a humorous statement where he not only explained his status in WrestleMania 40 but also revealed the reason behind the same. He said, “I don’t think I could pass any drug test for WrestleMania because they drug test people. I am on everything I think they’re testing for.

Well, WWE has always had a wellness policy, more so after the controversial drug test breakdown in the mid-90s. So, Pat McAfee has made it clear that he would be unable to qualify for any kind of match.

During his NFL days, he was even sent to a substance abuse program where he stayed for 27 months, often getting checked eight times a month. The same habits seem to be affecting a chance at his appearance in WrestleMania, this year.

Pat McAfee has some memorable moments at WrestleMania

Pat McAfee was a part of WrestleMania 38 and WrestleMania 39 matches where he fought Austin Theory, Vince McMahon, and The Miz. WrestleMania 38 includes McAfee’s memorable segments where he fought Vince McMahon and received a stunner from Stone Cold Steve Austin. Interestingly, he was the last opponent of Vince McMahon. Last year, he brought some assistance from NFL Legend Rob Gronkowski against The Miz. He was also a part of Royal Rumble this year but did not enter the ring while Omos was present.

As of now, McAfee is a regular on the RAW commentary box with Wade Barrett, so we can expect him at the WrestleMania commentary box.
