Undertaker and Vince McMahon have had a tumultuous history in the WWE, but outside the ring, the two have immense respect for each other. In his tweet, McMahon said, Three decades ago today, Undertaker changed the landscape of sports-entertainment. His legacy is incomparable, his impact immeasurable.”

Vince’s words ring true in terms of the Undertaker’s incredible career in WWE. Taker has won six World Championships, won the Royal Rumble and main evented WrestleMania on five separate occasions.

Undertaker and Vince have feuded multiple times

Undertaker and Vince McMahon have faced each other in the ring too. Taker’s rivalry with the owner of the company has been one of the most chaotic, yet brilliant rivalries of the Attitude Era.

Undertaker and Kane were in cahoots with Vince in 1998, during Steve Austin’s reign with the title. However, Taker freed himself from under Vince’s control, and started the Ministry of Darkness. The Ministry would even go on to kidnap Vince’s daughter, Stephanie, and tried to have her married to the Undertaker.

The feud was restarted in 2003, after Vince screwed Undertaker out of a WWE Title win against Brock Lesnar. McMahon and Taker would then clash in a Buried Alive match, which the latter would go on to lose after Kane interfered.

Taker is Vince’s favourite wrestler

The Deadman has had his issues with Vince and his family, but the CEO has not disregarded Taker’s contributions to WWE. Vince has often regarded Undertaker as his favourite wrestler in WWE. This comes as quite a surprise, considering his camaraderie with Steve Austin, The Rock and even Hulk Hogan.
