“Vince McMahon Is a Mark for That Kind of Stuff” – WWE Hall of Famer Frustrated With the Return of Goldberg

As a wrestling fan, when do you think a wrestler should hang up his boots? Is it after they are 50 years old? Or is it after they have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame? Well, Goldberg doesn’t care about any of those. He still has a fight left in him, and his latest target is WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley.

WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray, is not excited about Goldberg’s return and showed his disdain on the “Busted Open” podcast. According to Ray, Goldberg is only back because WWE’s Chairman, Vince McMahon, loves his look and physique. His words were,

“Fans are back in attendance, the WWE Universe is excited, Goldberg is a WWE Hall of Famer. They put him out there, they keep seeing what they can get out of him. They must be getting something out of him, and I know Vince (McMahon) likes him. Goldberg is an older gentleman who still goes to the gym, looks phenomenal, and Vince McMahon is a mark for that kind of stuff, so opportunities and chances are still given.”

We cannot deny the fact that Bill Goldberg looks absolutely ripped for his age. Most people, at 54, don’t even like going out of their homes. Goldberg is ready to wrestle at the highest level at that age. The man knows no bounds.

The fans react to Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley

By now we know what Vince thinks and what wrestling legend Bubba Ray thinks. But what do the most important people in the business, i.e. the fans, think? Following Goldberg’s return at Raw, Twitter went berserk, with some fans loving the moment and some absolutely hating it.

As usual, the fans are divided in their opinions, which was expected. Goldberg may have passed his prime but he sure can still pack a punch.
