Crown Jewel is among the WWE’s most prized shows after WrestleMania. As discussed before, the show brings in a ton of revenue for Mr. McMahon and the WWE. However, we shouldn’t forget that McMahon is at advanced age and can occasionally have a senior citizen moment with names. Mr. McMahon, accompanied by The Undertaker, was on the red carpet of the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou boxing event in Saudi Arabia. This is just a few days ahead of WWE’s PLE Crown Jewel. While talking to the media, he answered a few questions regarding the WWE-UFC merger and the upcoming Crown Jewel event.
He was asked what WWE event he was most excited about. To this, McMahon answered, “Well, it’s Crown Prince. it’s going to be Crown Prince.” This moment reflects back to when Hulk Hogan fumbled the name of the Silverdome at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans.
Realizing his mistake, Mr. McMahon was quick to correct himself, saying, “I might meet him later on. It’s the Crown Jewel, quite frankly. We’re going to be here next week, and this is our home.” Crown Jewel takes place on the 4th of November at the Mohammed Abdu Arena, with an action-packed line-up of matches.
