Vince McMahon appeared on The Pat McAfee Show. This was his first interview in fifteen years, and, of course, it was a massive hit.

The Big Man spoke about quite a few things, but he made an offer to Pat McAfee, which had the former NFL Punter on his toes.

Vince McMahon offered McAfee the opportunity to wrestle at WrestleMania 38. He said, “I’d like to offer you an opportunity to actually wrestle at WrestleMania… in the ring. When you played for the Colts, you are the punter. But, now, in the ring, you’re gonna be a linebacker.”

If McMahon goes through with the idea, it’ll be a dream come true for Pat McAfee! He has worked in the WWE ring before at NXT, but never at The Grandest Stage of All.

Vince McMahon will find a worthy opponent for Pat McAfee

Right after learning it would be a dream come true for McAfee, The Big Man confirmed he would find a worthy opponent for him. If that’s the case, the storyline could have already been set.

On WWE Raw, Austin Theory wanted to be with Vince McMahon on the show to protect him from McAfee. However, McMahon turned down the offer because it wasn’t a violent show.

Now, the person who can go up against McAfee at WrestleMania 38 is Theory. He’s relentlessly trying to impress The Big Man, and this could be the way to do so.

Additionally, if this is the storyline WWE is looking into, The Big Man could actively become a part of it. He may not be in the ring, but he’ll be involved in the storyline as much as possible.

He’s already cutting backstage segments with Austin Theory and grooming him to become one of the best in the WWE. Therefore, a match against Pat McAfee could be a good addition to Theory’s resume, especially if the match takes place at WrestleMania 38.
