WrestleMania 23 witnessed the famous ‘battle of the billionaires’ when Donald Trump went against Vince McMahon. Both these ace businessmen had two superstars representing them. Trump had Bobby Lashley in his corner, whereas Vince McMahon went ahead with Umaga.

Donald Trump became an active part of the WWE storylines in 2007 and had a feud with the then CEO Vince McMahon. Their feud culminated at WrestleMania 23 with Trump triumphing over McMahon. Off-screen, both McMahon and Trump were good friends, with Trump also having a reality show of his own, ‘The Apprentice’.

Both Trump and McMahon had agreed upon a storyline and a number of television appearances for the former US President. Their feud ended at WrestleMania 23 but with a unique twist. The match had the stipulation of ‘hair vs hair’. Which meant whoever lost had to get their hair shaved in front of the live audience.

The end of the match saw, Vince McMahon getting his hair shaved because Trump had some prior arrangements made. According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, there were few terms McMahon had to agree to before the feud. The report states that Trump had made the former CEO of WWE sign a contract, where two important things were highlighted.

The first, that Trump’s hair could not be touched under any circumstances, that is, even if he lost the match. And second, McMahon had to donate $ 4 million to a charity of Trump’s choice.

The report states, “Mr. Trump had his associates review the contract to ensure that under no circumstances would Mr. McMahon be allowed to shave his head, even if Mr. Trump’s wrestler dropped dead in the ring.” It is popularly known how much Trump is fond of his blonde mane which is even one of his trademarks.

Chris Jericho once wanted to ‘punch’ Vince McMahon in the face

Vince McMahon and Chris Jericho had quite the history during his days in WWE. During Jericho’s recent appearance at ‘Inside the Ropes Live show‘ Jericho revealed how he once got into a heated argument with McMahon.

Jericho revealed that during the buildup of his and Triple H’s WrestleMania 18 match, Triple H and Chris Jericho were rehearsing their spot when Vince McMahon made some comments which angered ‘Y2J’. Vince’s stern comments made Jericho lose his anger and made him think of punching the then CEO in his face. However, in the same interview, Jericho also praised McMahon.
