Vince McMahon has been running WWE for almost 40 years. Spending such a long time in a profession can make a person addicted to it. McMahon is 77 years old. At this age, a normal person opts for retirement to spend his golden days peacefully. But this is not the case with The Diabolical Owner of WWE.
Even after so many years of service to the company, he still wants to give more to it. Spending so much time in the Stamford-based company may be one of the reasons Mr. McMahon feels so hard to say goodbye to it. Eric Bischoff also shares a similar point of view about this matter.

McMahon left WWE last year following some lawsuits and allegations but returned to the company earlier this year. In a recent episode of the Strictly Business podcast, Bischoff talked about The Evil Genius making a return to WWE. During the podcast, the former WWE Raw General Manager mentioned he thinks Vinnie Mac feels addicted to WWE.
To support his statement, he compared the Executive Chair of WWE to an alcoholic. He said that just like an alcoholic is drawn to alcohol, likewise, The Genetic Jackhammer is drawn to WWE. That is why whenever he tries to make up his mind about leaving WWE, he ends up coming back.
The 1-time WCW Hardcore Champion said, “It may be like an alcoholic that walks through the same bar every day. As much as he may want to walk away from it, he’s wired in such a way that he’ll allow himself to do. He will be drawn into it.” A part of the reason he is so attracted to WWE is that it has been a major part of his life.

“So a better part of Vince McMahon’s life, this thing called wrestling, has been a majority of it. And you don’t walk away from that,” the WWE Hall of Famer stated. He added that there might be a voice inside The Chairman’s head that tells him to take a step back from WWE. But his emotions get the better of him and drag him back into WWE, eventually.
