Vince McMahon is currently one of the most popular celebrities in the world. He is very instrumental in making WWE a global entertainment company. After purchasing WWF, Vince McMahon looked like a man on a mission.

Today, through his hard work, passion, and determination, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is the largest professional wrestling promotion in the world. For all these years, Vince McMahon and WWE had massive success, and the fan base just keeps on growing with each passing day.

For all these years, Vince McMahon had led from the front. He is a great businessman and had successfully undertaken several projects in the past. Presently, he is the WWE chairman and also the Chief Executive Officer of WWE.

But coming close to his 80s, Vince McMahon might have to think about stepping down the throne in the future. Though he is still going strong and would love to continue for as long as possible, there have been several rumors about WWE preparing for a sale down the road.

Recently, during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show, Pat McAfee addressed this situation to Vince McMahon. In reply, Mr. McMahon said, “I don’t think about it a lot.”

The WWE chairman claimed if you have built something, you want it to continue on and prosper and grow, with or without a family member.

This is really interesting to hear. While most people think Vince’s successor might be someone from the McMahon family, it might not necessarily be the case after what Vince McMahon said during the interview on The Pat McAfee Show.

Who might replace Vince McMahon after he retires?

This is difficult to predict who can be Vince’s successor. But there are some likely options. And Stephanie McMahon is one name on that list. Stephanie is Vince McMahon’s daughter and is herself a great businesswoman. Currently, she is the Chief Brand Officer of WWE.

Triple H and Shane McMahon are also two candidates who might be Vince’s successor. Shane has served several roles in WWE and is well accustomed to the business. And so is Triple H. Triple H is the Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development of WWE.

But as Vince said, he wants the best for the business. Thus, it might not necessarily be someone from the family.
