The ‘Awesome’ one said no one in or outside the WWE thought he is a worthy champion when he won it in 2010. In fact, everyone wanted him out!

The only reason it didn’t faze him was that it was Vince McMahon’s call. The boss has always kept faith in The Miz, and the latter has always lived up to it.

“I think Vince has always believed in me. Which is always been incredible in my mind that whenever I’ve had a conversation with him, you can tell, he knew.” The Miz said.

He continued, “I think he can tell that if he tells me something. I don’t just hear it. I listened to it, I absorb it. And I’m able to get exactly what he wants out of it. And make sure that the big picture is in place. He can lean on me to do that.”

The WWE Champion also said that he isn’t one of the guys that go into Vince’s office and cribs about his spot on the card. He is the one who makes the most of what’s given to him. Rather, he takes it to another level.

“I’m a guy that says Vince needs this done. I can do that. Not only I can do that, I can make it even better than what he wants it to be. I think that’s the trust that I have developed with him and with the company.” he concluded.
