Towards the ending of the match, Flair hit Ripley with the title across the head, thus keeping the title. However, the champ could not escape and Ripley hit her with the famed Riptide.
Soon, Nikki came out of nowhere and cashed in her contract to become the Raw Women’s champion for the first time. The superstar was so happy that she jumped the barricade and celebrated with the WWE Universe.
The new champ seemed thrilled and she was clicking selfies with the younger audience, high-fiving everyone, and simply embraced the moment to its fullest. She was jumping and flexing the title throughout her celebration with the fans.
The cash-in also made ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair the shortest reigning women’s champion.
