The match started up as soon as Nakamura hit the ringside. The match was hard-hitting, with both men throwing caution to the wind. The first half was barely in the ring, with both fighting on the outside. The two first went inside the entrance area, but quicky came back to the ringside.

The match took a different turn as the men entered the crowd to continue the fight. Setting Nakamura up, Ricochet hit a shooting star press off the audience seats. The move was so sudden that it took out a few guards who were trying to keep the bystanders at bay. This move turned out to be the highlight of the match, mirroring the leaps Jeff Hardy once made.
