By the time 2002 rolled around The Rock started morphing himself into an actor alongside being a WWE superstar. When he entered the world of acting, Will Smith was already a top guy in the business.

In a viral video, ‘The Great One’ recalled a meeting with Smith. This moment might be the first time DJ met the 54-year-old actor face-to-face after looking at the reaction he had narrated the incident.

The Jumanji actor said, “When I got into the business, I always looked at Will Smith as the and at that time, it was the early 2000s where he was the biggest star in the world. And he was producing, he was singing, he was integrating his music into movies. And I remember thinking to myself, ‘Wow! I’d love to have Will’s career.’”

The WWE legend added, “I remember having a meeting because we were at the same agency at that time and I brought in everybody who I could, who wanted to participate in this meeting. Again I was not at Will’s level at that time. I was just starting out – Scorpion King, Tooth Fairy movies like that.”

Johnson had a tough time in Hollywood initially, but he had overcome that. He followed Smith’s career and is also a good friend of the Aladdin actor. Both the stars have been seen together several times and Smith has also acknowledged DJ’s success in acting and WWE many times.

Once Will Smith called out DJ using The Rock’s iconic catchphrase!

Last year Will Smith appeared on the episode of Actually Me on GQ YouTube. He answered several fan questions on social media. One of the questions was why Smith and Johnson haven’t worked in a movie yet.

The 54-year-old star addressed the same by using parts of The Rock’s iconic catchphrase. He said, “I might have to do old school smackdown walk up on him”.
