VIDEO: Behind the Scenes Footage Shows Sasha Banks’ Recording Session From Upcoming Movie Project

For a lot of stars with in-ring charisma, WWE is never the last frontier. Their next challenge is always making it big in Hollywood. And some of these WWE stars have tasted immense success, like Dwayne Johnson and John Cena. In the process, they have also opened the doors of Hollywood for other wrestling stars who, to date, would just retire when they got older.

While there are stars like Seth Rollins who are also already shooting for big movies like Captain America, another ex-WWE superstar also has an upcoming movie project. We recently saw Sasha Banks in a recording session for her upcoming assassin movie.

Sasha Banks to make her movie debut with ‘The Collective’

Sasha Banks was with the WWE from 2012 to 2022. During her time with the company, she won the NXT Women’s Championship and even the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships.

In spite of such a successful WWE career, she eventually left the company in 2022 due to a creative dispute with Vince McMahon. Later she joined NJPW and has since been with them ever since. But alongside, she also kept up her acting career. In 2020, she made her television debut in the Disney+ series ‘The Mandalorian’. She played the role of Koska Reeves, a Mandalorian.

But recently a video came out showing Banks in the studio recording lines for her upcoming movie ‘The Collective’. The movie revolves around a group of virtuous assassins who want to put an end to a human trafficking ring.

The cast includes stars like Lucas Till and Ruby Rose and releases in theaters on August 4th. But Sasha Banks is not the only wrestler who wants to make it big in Hollywood.

Ronda Rousey wants to star in a martial arts blockbuster

By now WWE fans are well aware that Ronda Rousey’s contract with the WWE is almost over and she will leave the promotion soon. While fans are hoping she will make her return to MMA, Rousey has other plans.

In her last interview with ‘The Sun’, Rousey expressed her desire to be a lead in a martial arts blockbuster. She said that she wants to be the next Bruce Lee or Jet Li.

Rousey has already acted in 4 movies and garnered immeasurable experience. One appearance consisted of her involvement in a power-packed fight scene with Michelle Rodriguez in Furious 7.
