In 2021, the WWE Universe witnessed something unique. They saw a different avatar of Brock Lesnar.

Over the years in WWE, we had known Lesnar as the Beast, who causes destruction. But Brock Lesnar had a new persona following his return to WWE SmackDown after his suspension last year.

Before coming face to face with Roman Reigns again, Lesnar had a couple of funny segments with Sami Zayn, who was the number 1 contender for Roman Reigns‘ WWE Universal Championship back then.

It is not always the case that you get to see Brock Lesnar in a fun segment on WWE television. However, the segments got a very good reaction from the fans as they praised the chemistry between Sami and Brock.

Recently, in an interview with New York Post, Sami Zayn recalled those segments on WWE SmackDown alongside the Beast Incarnate.

He said, “I enjoy that fact that my character was a very good foil to bring that out or Brock. I can’t take credit, obviously Brock was Brock.”

Zayn added, “I was actually quite taken aback by his comedic timing and his sharpness and all that. I really didn’t expect it and I think very few people did because he’s been this destructor that had [Paul] Heyman talk for him all these years. So I was as surprised as anybody.”

One more thing about Lesnar that got highlighted recently is his ability to talk by himself. For so many years, Paul Heyman did most of the talking for the Beast Incarnate.
