The Bloodline storyline continues to be the main attraction of WWE’s current television programming. It IS a story that began with the return of Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2020 and that has been nourished by characters such as Solo Sikoa, Jimmy and Jey Uso or Paul Heyman, who have starred in some of the most outstanding moments in the company’s recent history.
But what made it attract the most eyes was the return of the Brahma Bull. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson finally turned heel again to make the American Nightmare’s life a living hell. And make wrestling ‘cool again’. At least that’s what the Rock claims. However, Dave Meltzer disagrees with the point.

In a recent tweet, Dave Meltzer tried to answer a question asked by a WWE fan. The fan wanted to know Meltzer’s thoughts on the Rock’s claim that he made wrestling cool again. And Meltzer did not mince words and clearly stated that it was more because of the Bloodline being red hot and less about Dwayne Johnson making his return. He wrote, “Dwayne said because he came back. Actually because The Bloodline storyline got over big and it made WWE cool and the top talent got over because the company was hot. Dwayne coming back certainly helped though.”

But it would be wrong to assume that the Rock did not play a major part in bringing a lot of attention to the product. In fact, he made WrestleMania XL arguably the best WrestleMania in WWE history. And fans cannot wait to see what he brings to the table next. Maybe something related to the new Bloodline. As the WWE clearly has more plans in line for the faction that is no longer being led by the Tribal Chief Reigns. In fact, it is even registering trademarks of the new Bloodline.

The Bloodline has begun a new era after WrestleMania 40. Roman Reigns’ indefinite absence from WWE’s weekly schedule, and Tama Tonga’s debut have changed the entire landscape for the family. As Solo Sikoa has taken on a leadership role with Tonga by his side. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso has been left out after taking a beating from these two. Paul Heyman, meanwhile, is frightened by this and seeks to control a situation that seems to be difficult to handle.
Last week, specifically on Friday, April 19, WWE filed the application to register the trademark “MFT”. Precisely, Only Sikoa has recently been referring to Tama Tonga as its “MFT”. With Jacob Fatu yet to debut in WWE and the return of Roman Reigns still without an official date, it is expected that the story of The Bloodline will continue to progress and take shape in the coming months. What do you think? What can be the next storyline for the faction? Let us know in the comments.
