Cody Rhodes‘ sister recently took on the mission to tell us unknown things about him. Appearing in an interview that was made available to the public, Teil Rhodes revealed several new things about the top WWE star. For reference, she took an old interview that Rhodes starred in. Then, the elder sister did her job by dissecting his words and exposing one of his heroic acts in front of his fans.

In the interview that she had taken as a reference, Teil also accused her younger brother of presenting true incidents the wrong way. While claiming the incident to be true, she also completed their childhood story from her perspective.

Did Cody Rhodes lie to his fans?

While talking to Fightful, Teil recalled an old interview in which her brother had been featured. The 40-year-old also recollected him claiming that their parents didn’t get braces to help with the wrestler’s middle teeth gap in order to buy Teil her pageant dresses. While she claimed the incident to be true, Teil also gave out additional information regarding the same.

Teil started off by saying, “My parents didn’t get him braces because I needed a pageant dress. And that I would only get my dresses made from this famous robe-maker, dressmaker.” Then, she would continue further to say, “I’m pretty sure he just didn’t want braces. I did have some expensive dresses. So, there is truth in that, but, yeah, I just think he didn’t wanna get the braces.”

So, even though Rhodes’ story is kind of true, the real reason could have been something else. Teil Rhodes went on to narrate another story regarding how she helped Cody Rhodes get his iconic neck tattoo.

During the same interview with Fightful, Teil Rhodes went on further to answer more questions. When the top wrestler’s topic came up again, she couldn’t miss out on how he got his iconic neck tattoo. She had originally thought that it would go on his chest like the one he had for their father. So, she booked the tattoo appointment for him. However, The American Nightmare had other plans in mind.

Instead of what his sister had believed, he went ahead to get a big tattoo on his neck. Teil was afraid to admit her contribution in this act to their mom. This even resulted in Michelle, their mother, making an ’emergency’ call to Rhodes’ aunts.

What seemed like a grave mistake would later become one of the most iconic features of the wrestler.
