“Very Soothing to the Savage Beast” – WWE Legend John Cena Once Confessed His True Feelings About His Piano Obsession

John Cena has rocked the WWE world from his very first day. On his very debut, Cena created a huge impact that was almost impossible to topple. However, as time passed by, John Cena gradually transformed into one of the best on the roster.

He started off as a bodybuilder but soon transitioned into a pro wrestler. After an extremely illustrious WWE career, Cena chose Hollywood and acting as his next destination. He has been a part of several successful films and is a full-time actor now.

However, The Leader of Cenation is a man of many talents. Apart from bodybuilding, wrestling, and acting, Cena is also affluent in Mandarin, rap and hip-hop culture, and piano. Although Cena’s rap culture and mandarin speaking abilities are known, many people did not know his piano skills.

Cena started taking piano lessons in 2016 and even stated it was better to utilize 15 minutes on building skills than surfing the web. In 2017, his ex-fiancee Nikki Bella had also posted a video of Cena playing French pianist Maxence Cyrin’s cover of ‘Where Is My Mind?

In 2018, John Cena updated Vanity Fair about his piano skills. He revealed he enjoyed messing around with the piano, and it was something he had started around a year and a half ago.

The 45-year-old further said, “[Playing the piano is] very important to me because it keeps my mind sharp and also music comes out, and that’s very soothing to the savage beast.”

Learning a new skill takes a lot of time, however, Cena took his time and mastered playing the piano.

The 16-times-World Champion, John Cena, has now been learning the piano for 6 years. And over the course of time, he often took to social media to present his fans, with glimpses of him playing the piano. In 2018, Cena took to Twitter to post him playing the traditional folk song ‘The House of the Rising Sun’.

Cena also has skill in playing classical music and had played Erik Satie’s Gymnopédie No.1, while he was in Vancouver. Apart from all of these, Cena has also played other classical songs as well. He has a good reputation in the music industry and has even with Wiz Khalifa.

While John Cena has not wrestled a single match in 2022, he is rumored to return to the ring at WrestleMania 39 in 2023.
