Whether it is the movies or the WWE, Dwayne Johnson is a bankable name in showbiz. Johnson made his humble beginnings with the WWE. After following in the footsteps of his father, Dwayne Johnson established himself as “The Great One” in the WWE. And not long after, Johnson evolved and made good in Hollywood. 

At present, The Fast & Furious actor is the highest-paid actor in the world, according to Forbes. So, Dwayne Johnson has been to places before climbing the ladder of success. And with all the success he has had, he learned this once invaluable lesson from various places in the same city that made him a juggernaut. 

Dwayne Johnson vows to always make his fans happy

There is one thing that matters the most to Dwayne Johnson. And to this, even he would not say “It doesn’t matter if it matters!” Dwayne Johnson always sets out to make people happy. From his wrestling days, he made sure that his fans went home happy. Giving his fans their money’s worth is Johnson’s sole purpose. 

In a promo with CM Punk in 2013, The Rock once said, “The people always matter”. ‘The Great One’ meant every word of that statement. During an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Dwayne Johnson revealed how he learned the truth of that statement from working at various places in the state of Memphis. 

He stated, “I learned that right here in Tennessee, and I learned that right here at channel five, and I learned that at the flea market here in Memphis, and I learned that in the State fairgrounds, and I learned that in the wrestling in parking lots at used car dealerships. What I learned was, always send the people home happy. Always take care of them.”

Johnson further added that he would do even the littlest of things to go the extra mile to send his fans back home with a smile. While going into the details, The Rock revealed that during the intermission of the wrestling shows, he would go to his “gimmick table” and sell polaroids of himself to the fans and ask them if they are happy. 

With the longing to make the people happy, The People’s Champion launched his Tequila company a few years ago which is doing wonders today.

Nevertheless, Johnson recognized that much of his success came from giving his fans a good time. That said, he once did the sweetest thing for a teenage girl who is a hardcore Dwayne Johnson fan. 

Dwayne Johnson once surprised a teenage high school student 

This is probably one of the most well-meaning deeds that Dwayne Johnson did to make a fan happy. A teenage high school student named Katie Kelzenberg once posted a video on social media and asked The Rock to go out with him. 

While she thought that she would never get a response, Katie was in for a massive surprise. It was a regular Friday morning at Stillwater Area School until Katie Kelzenberg heard Dwayne Johnson’s voice come out of the intercom.

This was, of course, in response to her video. Naturally, Katie was as gobsmacked as she was excited. Johnson relayed to her that he wouldn’t be able to make it to the prom due to his schedule. However, The Hollywood megastar gave Katie a gift that will certainly make you jealous.

He rented out an entire theatre for Katie and her friends to watch the premiere of his movie Rampage. In addition, snacks and popcorn were all paid for. This alone goes to show how Johnson goes out of his way to make his fans happy.
