There are many prominent figures outside of WWE that have appeared frequently on the show. One of the most notable among them is legendary bodybuilder and actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The 7x Mr. Olympia has made multiple appearances in WWE thanks to his passion for the sport.

Notably, in 1999, Schwarzenegger made an appearance on the SmackDown episode that aired on November 10. It gained notoriety for ‘The Austrian Oak’s’ supremacy over HHH. Another infamous incident was when Arnold Schwarzenegger asserted, following the episode, that Hollywood celebrities are jealous of his appearance on the show.

Well, it wasn’t exactly a new thought for the WWE since the ring had already featured notables like Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali, and many others before the legendary bodybuilder. However, many believe that WWE brought these celebrities in order to profit from their notoriety and grab the attention of the audience.

Given that “The Terminator” was almost at the zenith of his career and was rising at an exponential rate, WWE invites Arnold Schwarzenegger to appear on the SmackDown edition.

He acknowledged his appearance by saying, “All the other actors are really jealous that they wasn’t on SmackDown. And I tell them that they are too much of girly men to be on that show. I’m the only one that has the right to be on the show.”

As Schwarzenegger prepped for his “End of Days” film and arrived for WWE promotion. He claimed that since he was already a global megastar and WWE was the most popular thing on television, other Hollywood celebrities were jealous of his success. Later on, in the show, he had a meeting with The Rock where he elaborated on his justification of Hollywood celebrities’ envy.

During this iconic show, where there is plenty to discuss, including the fight between HHH and Schwarzenegger, he describes Hollywood stars as being envious. Another notable moment was when Schwarzenegger first met Hollywood megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

In a video posted on the WWE website, The Terminator can be seen bumping over The Rock while wandering about backstage. The Terminator told The Rock that there are a lot of Jabronis in Hollywood, furthering his claim that Hollywood stars are envious of him.
