Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of the most popular action heroes ever. Starring in films such as Terminator, Predator, Conan the Barbarian, Commando, and many more, the former Mr. Olympia was among the favorite action hero.

His iconic catchphrases and movies became extremely popular, bringing him massive fame. His popularity also brought him into WWE for cameo appearances often. In 2015, he was awarded with the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame award.

Schwarzenegger’s good ties with WWE landed him an inclusion as a playable character in the video game, ‘WWE 2k16’. The Terminator actor was made into a playable character in the game, with his own iconic theme song and entrance. In a video released by WWE 2K, WWE stars like Roman Reigns, Ryback, and King Barrett were seen challenging ‘the Terminator’.

Barrett said, “Arnold Schwarzenegger! Let King Barrett be the first to welcome you to WWE 2k16 but this comes with a warning because I don’t care if you turn up as Arnold Schwarzenegger or if you turn up as The Terminator.”

The 42-year-old continued, “Because whether you are flesh and bone or if you are cyborg. It’s gonna end the same way. You are going down to a Royal Bull Hammer.” Barrett threw open threats at Schwarzenegger in the promotional video.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was a popular name in Hollywood and had starred in several iconic movies in the 1980s and 90s. The 1997 film, Batman and Robin, had the character of Mr.Freeze. Several actors were shortlisted for playing the iconic role.

Out of everyone, Schwarzenegger topped the list, with Sylvester Stallone and Hulk Hogan just behind. Hogan starred in several Hollywood films such as Rocky 3, Suburban commando, Mr.Nanny, and Gremlins 2 to name a few.

It was reported that the film’s director Joel Schumacher had considered Hollywood Hulk Hogan for playing the nemesis of Batman. However, he was rejected and thus the role went to Arnold Schwarzenegger. Once the movie was released, it was termed disappointing and disastrous. Hogan, missing out on the film, did him more good than harm. However, Schwarzenegger’s massive star power and popularity saved his career even after starring in such a disastrous film.
