Speaking with the team of rsng, Dwayne Johnson opened up about his battles with depression, and how he overcame it. When asked if one can work out simultaneously for a better mind and a better body, ‘The Rock’ had an answer ready.

The 50-year-old said, “Of course. It requires great discipline to get into shape and that’s vital when it comes to beating negativity.” He showed his gratitude for bodybuilding and claimed that it was through bodybuilding that he was able to set goals and regain his self-respect.

Johnson further said, “I tried to model myself after Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, and I knew that one day I would get into acting.” Dwayne Johnson and Arnold Schwarzenegger are known to be good friends and share a close relationship with each other.

It takes a lot of hard work, willpower, and determination to achieve a body like Dwayne Johnson’s. Through sheer dedication, Johnson has been able to reach all of his goals.

The Brahma Bull of WWE works out on an average of 3-4 hours daily, and sometimes even six hours. His routine is split into training all of his isolated muscle groups. Such as the back, shoulders, arms/abs, legs, and chest. He also adds stretching and cardio in his set of exercises to maintain his agility and stamina.

He follows a strict workout schedule every morning before starting his day. And, the results of those are clearly evident.
