Schwarzenegger’s impressive physique required a strict diet and a tough workout routine. His arms, pecs, back, and legs, all could vouch for his strict workout routine. Apart from bodybuilding, acting and politics, he was also actively involved with WWE, often making appearances there.

WWE is another industry where superstars work and train hard to maintain peak fitness. In the world of WWE, often stars with a good physique are pushed toward the epitome of success, while the cruiserweights were often ignored. However, those times are now gone.

A career in WWE meant working and training hard. In an interview with WWE, several WWE Superstars revealed their highest record in bench presses. And, one will be shocked to know that a WWE superstar’s bench press record is much higher than Arnold Schwarzenegger’s.

While bodybuilding legend and icon, Arnold Schwarzenegger bench-pressed a massive  525pounds as his highest, former WWE Champion Big E, bench-pressed 575 pounds, much higher than Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The former Champion’s record is almost 50 pounds more than the 7-times Mr. Olympia. Schwarzenegger’s massive record almost looks pale and flat in front of Big E‘s record.

What do Arnold Schwarzenegger’s diet and workout plan look like?

To maintain a body like ‘The Terminator’, one has to sacrifice a lot. With a lot of dedication and determination, it can be achieved. Schwarzenegger worked out from a very young age, and it slowly carved his body into what it was. During his prime, he was easily one of the largest bodybuilders around. His looks and physique earned him a call from Hollywood, and he quickly found success.

Maintaining a ripped physique like that meant eating a lot of proteins, and so he did. His diet mainly consisted of proteins and saturated fats such as eggs, sausages, bacon, avocados, bread, seafood, red meat, vegetables, cheese, rice, etc. For a balanced diet, he combined all of these and had a hearty intake, thus fulfilling his calorie requirements.

During workouts, he trained six days a week and divided them into different isolated exercises for each day. He did not perform a compound exercise and mostly focused on the isolated ones. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a true bodybuilding legend, and his achievements are proof.
