There’s something going on with WWE contracts, and it seems like there’s a confusion about when and whose contract is ending. First, it was Adam Cole, then Kevin Owens, and now Sami Zayn.

Coming to Sami Zayn, apparently his contract was supposed to end during the fall, but that isn’t the case. As of now, Zayn’s contract is not ending as thought to be and he will not be a free agent soon.

Now, the only reason the rumours of Zayn’s contract ending started circulating is because of the superstar himself. During an interview, Zayn revealed that his contract could end during fall, but now, reports reveal that is not what the situation is.

Sami Zayn could end up at AEW

Zayn hasn’t been in the title picture on SmackDown, and for now he doesn’t have an interesting storyline. Therefore, if his contract ended during fall, or the company let him go, he could definitely come to AEW.

It so happened that Kevin Owens’ contract is supposed to end in 2022. If that’s how it is, both Owens and Zayn could head to AEW. Wrestling fans are eagerly waiting to have more pro-wrestlers transition from WWE to AEW.

In fact, in a situation where Owens and Zayn’s contracts end around the same time, fans want to see them at AEW along with Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan.

Now, there are talks of Ric Flair possibly making his AEW debut. Initially, no one expected WWE to release Flair, but when it happened, everyone wondered about his next move. He made an appearance on NWA 73, and many believed this was where he would remain. However, he could soon come to AEW.

Keeping them aside, the former superstars who are already working with AEW are Chris Jericho, Sting, Christian Cage, Jon Moxley, Rusev (Miro), and FTR.
