WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is all set to face Brock Lesnar at this year’s upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view. However, according to reports, the much-anticipated match is not a one-off thing, as many fans believe.
It was previously indicated that WWE had contemplated delaying Lesnar’s reappearance until WrestleMania 38 next year for a fight with Reigns.
This feud, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, will last a lot longer. Meltzer had talked about how this match wasn’t a one-time thing and the feud between the superstars is likely to continue. Unless WWE can get The Rock to work with Reigns at WrestleMania 38, which seems unlikely given how busy The Rock is with his Hollywood commitments. Lesnar vs. Reigns is the most important match the business can make at this year’s event.
