The Uso brothers, Jimmy and Jey Uso, have dominated the WWE tag team division for a long time. Ultimately, the two parted ways because of their differences with the ideologies of the Bloodline. Main Event Jey ended up being traded to the Raw roster in the WWE Draft. As the months went by, things changed. Roman Reigns had disappeared after his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

While Jimmy Uso was banished from the remake of The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa. That’s why many thought both would return to programming in the short term together, possibly on SummerSlam. In fact, in an interview for Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Jey Uso spoke about those returns and indicated that his brother Jimmy Uso will return to programming soon.

He said, “My brother will be back soon. I want to see him on TV. Like, if you really pay attention to Jimmy, Jimmy [is] funny as hell. He started shining on SmackDown for a little bit, then he got hurt. I’m excited to see his character back on TV. How he is with Roman [Reigns] now. Even with me.” So with the return of Roman Reigns in the main event of SummerSlam, many expected to see Jimmy Uso arrive alongside the Original Tribal Chief.

However, that did not occur, to the disappointment of many. So Fightful on its Patreon revealed that, unlike speculation online, Jimmy Uso never planned to return to SummerSlam. “Contrary to speculation online, there was never a plan or an audible called from an original plan to feature Jimmy Uso or Jey Uso in the match. This was noted by Brandon Thurston on Twitter, but recent WWE press conferences have featured access for some who purchased On Location ticket packages.”

The Original Tribal Chief has seen Solo Sikoa currently lead a revamped faction. With Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu being the new members. Since Sikoa went as far as warning Roman Reigns ahead of the PLE. So Reigns had to come back to claim revenge as he did. But now that he has started a battle with the Bloodline, he sure would need the support of his former members such as the Usos. Now that Jimmy Uso is clear to fight, he could make his return soon. However, it seems like another Bloodline member has found themselves on the doomed list of injuries.

Jacob Fatu was one of the WWE Superstars who intervened in the match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam. But the negative part came when he hit his leg on the commentary table when applying a Splash on Rhodes. Triple H stated that Fatu was somewhat injured after the event and we had to wait a little to find out what he had.

Now, thanks to an Instagram ‘story’ from the HaroonTwins, we have been able to see Jacob Fatu in an orthopedic boot after SummerSlam. So far, there are not many more details about it, but it is certainly something to highlight. The first reports from Pro Wrestling Nexus after the show indicated that Jacob Fatu was “fine”. This does not mean that he may have a minor injury. In the next few hours, this situation will be fully clarified. What do you think? Is Fatu legitimately injured? Let us know in the comments.
